RIFLA invited to attend COLT Fall Conference at CT members' rate

Dear World Language Teachers of New England,

CT COLT cordially invites you to attend our annual Fall Conference, Monday, October 25, 2010 at the Crown Plaza Hotel in Cromwell, CT, conveniently located just off exit 21 of I-91.

The theme of this year's conference is “ World Languages: Essential 21st Century Skills for Global Citizens”. We are honored that Dr. David Carter, Chancellor of the CT State University System, will deliver the keynote address.

CT COLT is proud to offer over 45 professional workshops for which C.E.U.’s will be granted. In addition, the Conference will feature a wide variety of exhibitors and organizational displays.

In the spirit of collaboration with our New England neighbors, we are offering an arrangement of “reciprocity”, whereby those members who wish to attend our conference would be offered registration at the same rate as CT COLT members, with proof of membership in their respective state organization: RIFLA, FLAME, MAFLA, VFLA, NHAWLT, NYSAFLT. We, in turn, would be happy to share information about your conference and other activities with our own membership, in our newsletters and postings on our website.

To get a clearer idea of the professionalism and excellence of the CT COLT Conference, we encourage you to take a look at this short video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l4BzepDECC8
